The Screen Saver
is a very old tool provided by all moderns Windows operating systems. The screen saver simply runs when the computer is idle and shows different pictures, animations, or black screens. The screen saver can be configured in different ways.
Open Screen Saver Configuration
The Screen Saver settings can be opened in different ways. But the most simple and fast way is using the Start Menu by typing screen saver
like below.

By default the Screen Saver is disabled mode where it do not runs when the computer is idle.

Enable Screen Saver
The Screen saver
the setting is used to enable and disable the Screen Saver. By default the None
is used which is used to disable the screen saver. Just select a screen saver setting like 3d Text
, Blank
, Bubbles
, Mystify
Photos
and Ribbons
.

Set Wait or Idle Time To Activate Screen Saver
As you expect the screen saver starts after the specified idle time. When the user stops working with the computer the idle time starts and after the setting is met the screen saver starts automatically. The idle time can be set via the Wait
configuration. The specified value is set as minutes to wait before running the screen saver.

Disable Screen Saver
Even the screen saver is disabled by default after enabling it we may want to disable screen saver. The Screen saver
configration drop down can be used to disable screen saver. Set the screen saver as None
.
