Windows 10 is the latest end-user operating system provided by Microsoft. Windows 10 is very integrated with the online and internet-related services where Online Accounts is one of them. Windows 10 can be used online accounts which are created via Windows Live, Office365, Azure, etc. But the usage and support of the regular local accounts continue. The creation of the Local Account is a bit difficult as Windows 10 insist on creating an online account. In this tutorial, we will examine how to create a local user in Windows 10.
Create Local User In Windows 10
In order to create local user in Windows 10 first we open the Add, edit or remote other users
screen. This screen can be opened in different ways where one of the is Start Menu
-> Settings
-> Accounts
. Another way is typing user
in the Start Menu .

In the following screen click to the Add someone else to this PC

In the following screen we set how ill this person sign in. If we provide an email or phone this means this account is created as online account. So we click to the I don't have this person's sign-in information
.

In the following screen we click to the Add a user without a Microsoft account
.

In the following screen we add the new user by speciying the user name, password and some password recovery information if we forget password. The Who's going to use this PC?
is the user name of the account where also the user surname can be specified too.

After clicking to the Next
in the local user creation screen, the local user is created. The created user is listed below with the name of john
. Also, this account is local too.

Create Local Administator User In Windows 10
Also an Local Administrator account can be created in Windows 10. First a normal local user account should be created which is described above. Then this account made as Administrator
account. In the list of users click to the user.

In the user menu click to the Change account type
button like below.

In the Change account type
screen set the account type as Administrator
like below.

In the local user list we can see that this user account type is set as Administrator
