Windows 7 provides the Snipping Tool in order to take screenshots. The snipping tool can be used in different ways by directly taking the screenshot or opening the Snipping tool and taking a screenshot etc.

Like Windows 7 most of the operating systems provide the Print Screen in order to take screenshots with a single keystroke.

Another way is to open the Snipping Tool via the Start Menu. Typing “snipping tool” to the Start Menu lists the snipping tool like below.
The Snipping Tool is like the below which consists of a very simple menu.
In order to take a screenshot, we just click on the New button in the Snipping Tool menu.
