Windows provides the screenshot tool
Snipping Tool which can take screenshots. But Windows operating systems also provide the screenshot shortcut which is used to take screenshots of the current desktop. The
PrtScn key is provided by the keyword of the computers. This can be also named as
Print Scr indifferent keyboards. This screenshot key should be used with the
Windows Key which contains the windows logo.
Windows Key should be used with the Print Screen keyword by pressing at the same time. This captures the screenshot of the Windows.
In some cases, the keyboard may not provide the PrtSc key which is the PrintScreen key. Windows provide an alternative to this PrintScreen key where the
FN+Space can be used with the Windows key in order to take screenshots.
Capture Only Active Window with Alt+PrtSc
Windows screenshot tool also provides the ability to take screenshots of an active window by using the
Alt+PrtSc key combination. This key combination only takes currently active window screenshots.
