How To Remove/Uninstall Microsoft Edge From Windows?

The get-appxpackage is used to to list the install Microsoft Edge packages.

The existing Microsoft Edge related packages are listed. We need the full name of the Microsoft Edge. The fullname contains the version information. The remove-appxpackage command like below.

remove-appxpackage Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_44.19041

Disable Microsoft Edge via Your Default Browser Setting

Microsoft operating systems can be used with multiple web browsers. Even you can start and use multiple browsers at the same time there is only one default browser. By default, the Windows operating systems set Microsoft Edge as the default browser. This configuration can be changed and disabled via the Default Browser Setting.

• To open Default Browser Settings click Start Menu -> Settings -> Apps -> Default Apps and navigate to the Web Browser and select the browser you wat to make as default.
